Job Description
This is a fabulous opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic development chef to run and oversee the extensive fine food service at a major location in Middlesex. The development chef will work with key individuals in the company and be responsible for this multi-client venue.

The responsibilities for this position are:

- Managing all areas of the food service operation to include; menus for the various exclusive food outlets, financial accountability and working to budgets set by management

- To provide strategy and innovation in line with commercial food and menu planning to improve the Company’s profile and increase revenue

- Drive sales through centrally driven menu plans and promotions and ensure compliance through preferred suppliers

- Daily, weekly and monthly menus for the fine food venues, informal and formal hospitality to Michelin standard

- Ordering, costings, rotas, training and development of your team

- To attend weekly and monthly meetings as required by management

- Adhering to all company policies and standards to ensure the highest performance and quality of food and service at this site

.- Responsible for driving compliance of Health, Safety, Food Hygiene and COSHH regulations

Qualifications and Experience:

- Catering qualifications NVQ 1 and 2 or equivalent

- Intermediate Food Hygiene and H&S certificates

- Previous experience as an executive or senior chef in a 5* hotel and/or corporate blue chip environment

- Successfully managing a team in a busy hospitality environment

- Excellent knowledge of working to a budget and achieving the GP

- Passionate about food and excellent customer service skills

This role is best suited for an executive or development chef that has worked in high volume multi-outlet fine food establishments and is looking for their next big challenge.

Salary £45000+bonus
