Job Description
We have a fabulous opportunity for a highly motivated and dynamic executive head chef to run and oversee the food service that this gorgeous restaurant in London. The executive head chef will be working with a fabulous company that is known for their various array of eating establishments. This role demands a creative and enthusiastic executive head chef to develop the menus for the restaurants, bar and events at the site. The executive head chef will be responsible to increase the profile of this already prestigious location, increase the standards of food and work to get a Michelin star. The client is looking for someone that wants to strive for a Michelin star and make a name for them self in London and the UK.

The responsibilities for the executive head chef are:

Writing and developing the menus for all of the food service to include; a la carte for casual and fine dining restaurant and functions and events at the site
Managing all areas of the food service operation to include; financial accountability for a multi million pound food service operation
Ordering, costings, rotas, recruitment, training and development of your team
Working and building good working relationships with suppliers to ensure best quality and price from local suppliers for a British menu with an international influence to produce a high standard of food for each food service outlet
Required to be flexible and motivated to ensure the smooth running of this very busy restaurant
Responsible to be organized, committed and dedicated to building a successful team and food service operation at this flagship location

Qualifications and Experience and the executive head chef:

Catering qualifications NVQ 1 and 2 or equivalent
Intermediate Food Hygiene and H&S certificates
Previous experience as a senior chef in a 5* hotel or busy fine dining restaurant
Successfully managing a team in a busy food service venue
The role requires, passion, dedication, hard work, drive to succeed and be the best
This role is best suited for a senior chef that has worked in high volume multi-outlet fine food establishments and is looking for their next big challenge.

Salary £up to 70,000
