Title General Manager Private Members Club Mayfair Corporate Clients
My client has brought a modern take on the private members club to the west end. Slick service, immaculate spaces and food that competes with the very best that London has to offer, the whole concept has been designed around contemporary, sophisticated luxury. The client base is corporate, utilising the club for their meetings, events and private dining needs as well as for less formal business networking.
I am looking for a General Manager to oversee all service lines within the club. A key focus will be the F&B where you will run a sizable restaurant and private dining operation. In addition to the main restaurant and dining spaces there is also a comprehensive bar offering to manage plus the clubs fine wine list and lounge areas which are serviced by a flexible menu offering.
This role will be a highly accountable one and as General Manager, you will have need to report your P&L account on a monthly basis to the Directors. Playing an active lead role in budget setting you will need to be a numerate and commercially focused in all aspects of your management skill set.
With several HODís reporting to you and a large scale wider team, recruitment, training and development will be a high priority within the business.
Ideally from a quality restaurant, five star hotel or contemporary private members club you will be a level in your career where you can demonstrate expertise at senior managerial level. I am looking for someone who can talk with confidence about the London restaurant scene, knowing the latest openings, what the top chefs are up to and where the next big things is coming from and can translate that into a meaningful offering that the clubís members will appreciate. In addition to knowing about food, you will also need to be up to speed on the world of modern luxury.
