Job Description
Our client is a leading hospitality company working within the travel sector in the UK and across Europe. Just now they are looking for a talented FINANCIAL CONTROLLER.

This role represents a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive and developing business. The role is based in our clients London Head office, reporting to the FD.

We are looking for a dynamic individual capable of taking responsibility of the defined tasks. Attention to details and ability to meet strict deadlines are a primary requirement. Self-starter and good team player with the passion for numbers and finance. This position is suitable for candidates willing to develop the career further and to step up potentially to a Finance Director role.

Your Key Objectives:

Responsible for the preparation of the consolidated management accounts of the 4 entities of the Group
Oversee the reconciliation of the consolidated Balance Sheet
To produce accurate commercial information
Assist in the commercial development of the business, by providing recommendations and advising of the financial impact on the business
Produce financial reports on time and in correct format
Interrogate the data and challenge the management team
Providing recommendations for change in order to exceed targets
Manage, develop and motivate the team
Manage the client reporting requirement
Our Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA) with at least 3 to 5 years’ post qualification experience
Advance Knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel) is essential
Previous experience in accountancy software (SUN) is preferable
Able to work in multicultural environment with previous European exposure
Experience on food service and travel industries is an advantage
Good commercial and business acumen
Ability to analyse complex financial information
Strong people management skills and experience
Excellent communication skills, including being able to present complex information in a clear and concise format
Be pro-active, challenging, highly organised and work well under pressure
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills and be confident in partnering the business to help drive better results
