I am looking for a General Services’ Manager to report into the CEO of this unique beautiful property in the heart of London. I need you to be fantastic at managing, motivating a team and able to get the best out of them by quickly earning their respect. I need you to be able to relate to all level of people – we have some VIP clients who’s high profile events we host, whist I also need you to be able to relate and get the best out of the Kitchen Porters. This is a beautiful building full of heritage and history and I need you to be welcome to all types of visitor, not just the VIPS! AS well as overseeing the F&B and events, you will oversee reception, portering, maintenance and all other facets of running a busy hotel with some demanding clients. Someone with a cool, measured head would suit this role, someone who is brilliant front of house and presents in an immaculate way whilst also being able to jump to it and sort out various issues as they arise – someone who is hands on when needed as well – this is not an office job. I need someone who is practical , intelligent, who’s key strength is managing relationships, as you will manage key outsourced partners who manage catering and events on site. Basically I need someone of high class who has a common touch who will alienate no one and has the emotional intelligence to read all clients and guests and act accordingly.
