My client is looking for an exceptionally quality restaurant manager who is of London calibre in terms of current trends and work ethic. This would suit someone who really knows their food as the menu is especially varied, someone with an exceptional eye for detail – both the service and food are cutting edge so you must have really high standards and be great at galvanising teams into action and lead from the front. I really need someone who is extremely front of house and fantistic at making clients feel welcome and not someone who wants to hide in the office. You need to be a natural host and be outgoing and warm and friendly. This is a busy restaurant with an events space as well so you need to be good at multitasking and deputising for the General Manager when they are not there. Everything needs to look and feel spick and span at all times, from the uniforms of your team to the tables – no detail over looked, so that the service is seamless and as sublime as the food. This is unusually a Monday to Friday operation so would suit someone who is looking for more of a work life balance.
