Description Head of HR - Surrey Base with UK travel - £55k to £80k plus fully expensed Company car allowance.

The Job
Own and drive the HR strategy – enabling lighthouse businesses
Establish and execute a Business People Plan responding to the needs of the business, in line with survey feedback.
Drive organisational change to deliver business objectives
Employee relations – provide professional advice, guidance and support in line with organisation's policies, procedures and employment law. Policy change and development
Drive the Talent Review process, ensuring strong succession and a pipeline of talent
Collaborate with HR Team to drive the respective strategies into the business
Develop and deliver people propositions for bids, contributing to the growth of the business
Manage effective relationships with Unions
Attend SLT meetings and other operational meetings as required
Provide leadership and coaching to HR team
Drive employee engagement through the annual surveys and follow up action
The Person
Strong senior level HR generalist experience, preferably within the business to business management services sector
Multi-site, operationally diverse experience
Educated to degree level or equivalent and/or CIPD qualified
In depth knowledge of employment law, TUPE experience and organisational change
Experience of operating in a heavily unionised environment
Strong senior stakeholder management with the ability to influence
Team driven and a collaborative mindset, with experience of managing a geographically disparate HR team
High level of change readiness, persistency and problem solving approach
High work capacity, with an ability to work to deadlines
Contact/communication skills and empathy
Ability to manage ambiguity & change in fast paced, dynamic environment
