This niche Group of quality London Venues is seeking a Business Development Manager/Sales Manager based in London but with opportunity to work from home when business allows.
Most importantly for my client is finding someone with a personality rather than their experience so I am hoping for someone with a real drive and passion to succeed. They need to understand that some days will be easy but when we have tight the hard work will need to be put in!
PLACE OF WORK: Based in one of London venues with chance to work from home
SALARY: £45k plus car allowance and package
REPORTING: to Business Development Director
JOB ROLE / TASKS:
Involvement in the sales process / tenders from the planning stages to presentations. This involves:
Meeting new potential clients for the first time
Develop relationships with prospective clients
Assisting with the tender process, ensuring that relevant parties are included and professional tender documents are submitted within the given deadlines
Completing PQQs (pre-qualification documents)
Writing tender documents and presentations
Preparing & attending presentations
Assisting with the development of marketing strategies
Knowledge & skills – great communication skills, perfect written English, computer literate on Excel and Word, and must be able to demonstrate strong commercial and financial acumen
Experience – They can be currently in a Business Development or an operations role with some understanding and experience of the bid and tender process as well as some experience in marketing
Personality – Enthusiastic, can do attitude, self-motivated, passion for food and service including an understanding of a range of food trends
Personal – Flexible approach to working some unsociable hours including late evenings and weekends when there is a deadline.
Should be able to drive when required.
Must be smart, bright and well-presented.
£45,000 plus 6K Car allowance
