My client is a very quality reputable independent top end contract caterer who is unique in that it offers not just catering but also reception, guest services and blended services to its London clients. You would look after 7 high profile lovely clients with a turnover over of £2 million, including 2 Banks, one media company, and commercial cafes within 5 star Head offices in central London. You would report into the Operations Director and work alongside 2 other capable Operations Manager with great career progression. This is a boutique smaller independent company that prides itself on having high level of integrity and using only fresh food and sustainable ingredients, they really do practice what they preach! So if you are really and truly passionate about great food, and want to be a bigger fish in a smaller pond and manage a small location of bespoke clients that you can give real time and focus to then this would be ideal for you. You may be paid more currently but unhappy working for a larger caterer where you spend a lot of time on the road in a sector that does not inspire you – this role would allow you a decent work life balance and like I say the time to really care and focus on your clients individually as it is not about the numbers more about giving fabulous service and a great overall experience to your very quality clients!
