Jo founded Rockford having left Chess Partnership where she was a divisional director.
Having gained a degree in French and German at Bristol University, she worked in retail in Paris, New York and London. Jo is an example of “transferable” skills making the move from retail into recruitment and is an advocate of transferring skills from one sector to another and out of the box thinking when recruiting.

Jo now has over ten years’ experience of recruiting at middle to senior management level, including board appointments, within the hospitality industry.

Whilst not professing to be a ‘foodie’, Jo loves the hospitality industry and the challenges of her role within it – finding out what makes both candidates and client companies tick in order to deliver the best opportunities for each of them. Her mission is to provide a personalized recruitment consultancy, focusing on building strong, long-term relationships with both clients and candidates.
