Description Our client is one of the UK's leading contract catering companies. Just now they have an exciting opportunity within their Shropshire venue business.
We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic General Manager to lead an established team, providing great services with a smile!
Ideally you will be from a leisure venue catering background.
Our client wants someone very front end. This is a flag ship site, a mix of hospitality and retail grab and go, events, a busy but fun site!
You will be a highly motivated individual who has excellent gravitas, someone who is very strategic in your approach and has the ability to drive a business in the right direction.
You will be responsible for looking after financial reporting, maintaining and developing customer relations, as well as managing all facets of the catering operation by driving sales and marketing and ensuring excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience in a similar role
Managed a team of 15+
Must have event / retail / venue experience
Excellent people skills, able to motivate, lead and develop a team
Passion about food and customer service
Sound knowledge of diverse budgets
Strong financial and commercial acumen
High standards and be quality driven
Interpersonal, administrative and organisational skills
Good knowledge of IT systems
A 'Can do' attitude
