This is a very cool and vibrant London famous venue that is looking for a fabulous General Manager to run the busy RUM cocktail bar and the café and restaurant operation. This is a destination venue that has a huge following thought out the year and I need someone who has both the experience of running a busy wet lead venue whilst also someone who has previous experience of managing cafes or restaurants and also someone who has managed a client. The uniqueness of this venue is that you would be working for a contract caterer, but need Wet lead experience and also able to run a return and events business - not a lot then! there are over 200 Rums on sale at the bar so you need to have a genuine interest and passion for Run otherwise this won't be you!
Previous experience of working for a contract caterer so that you are used to managing the challenges that come with having two bosses and you have the intelligence and gravitas to do this well would be highly beneficial. I need you to be upbeat, energetic with a positive demeanour, someone who is a warm character and a solution finder and a born leader and motivator of teams! This high profile venue is open 6 days out of 7 – being closed on a Monday so you need to be willing and able to work weekends and evenings when required. As well as the busy bar and restaurant there is also an outside space used for events and hospitality so effectively this is a mulit site role but based in one venue.

Salary £50,000 plus bonus
