General Manager – Stunning food stunning rooms!
This charming gorgeous country pub with AMAZING food and a fantastic wine list is in need of a seasoned GM who wants to put this place on the map.

My client is growing and has an absolutely outstanding reputation for delivering first class food and fine wine in a sumptuous country inn with simply gorgeous bedrooms– no expense spared on any of the above! They are looking for a down to earth likeminded, outgoing, friendly, warm and engaging General Manager who really wants to be part of this growing and successful team – profit share on offer to you can really reap the rewards of your hard work and success! You will have the full support and encouragement from a fantastic Director of Operation’s who has a fine pedigree and can teach you a lot. We really need someone who wants this, as it really is a fabulous role and company and needs someone quite special! Your food is all prepared and cooked by an Ex Gordon Ramsey Chef and the wine list boasts some amazing wines fit for the most discerning pale. It is so much more than just a good pub with fine food - it boasts an impressive clientele and hosts some sublime high profile events – no two days are the same!

With an Ex Michelin star chef the food is really superb and this young destination eatery is already boasting an enviable reputation and people travel from far and wide to taste the sumptuous offerings.

Key skill requirement for the role of General Manager
- GM who is happy to run the show
- Keeping the villagers and locals happy (likes & dislikes)
- Finance savvy:
o GP% & Wages within budget
o Data inputting
o Understands money in & money out = counting the pennies
- Seasonality of produce is so key so need to understand this
- A marketer: create a calendar of events: Wine Suppers, Book Clubs, Racing dinners, etc.
- Create a great little team
- Someone who wants to ‘own’ the pub.

Package:
- £40k.
- Live in available.
- Profit share – 50% of upside to budget.


Salary £40,000 plus live in and profit share
