General Manager 5 Star Stunning luxury Retreat Nottingham


This stunning 50 bedroom property boasts 2 beautiful restaurants a unique eating space in the orangery and an awesome event space. No expense spared this truly is a fabulous eating destination and all round experience. You would be responsible for a combined food & beverage turnover of just shy of £2 million with a further £1 million on events and a further 1 Million in Accommodation and a core team of 50. You will need to have a thorough understanding of food and beverage and have experience in a small luxury hotel property or a 5 star racecourse working for one of the top caterers. In addition it boasts some of the latest cutting edge accommodation pods – think The Hobbit! This is a fabulous role and would suit a top class innovative driven Food and Beverage professional with experience also of managing luxury accommodation, who has a first class pedigree in managing and working within some of the most high profile and demanding restaurants within the 5 star arena.
Equally this would suit a General Manager of all that encompasses hospitality at one of the local racecourses. As General Manager you would be fully involved in driving the strategy and the culture of the company and will need to thrive off achieving results through fantastic management of your team!

Fabulous Food is what we do and you would need not only to have the experience of running restaurants but also high-profile hospitality and events, have a natural interest in latest food trends and yet we don’t want to reinvent the wheel we want our guest to enjoy the best fish pie they have ever tasted or the most delicious club sandwich with a reasonably priced yet delicious wine. We are a fab fab team really upbeat and we all look out for one another, it is a positive culture and very supportive and encouraging. We are looking for leader with bags of innovation, not afraid to try new things at the same time as being commercial and happy to have full P&L accountability for £4 million. The role reports into the Director of Operations.

Weekly responsibilities :
Leading a team to deliver an excellent customer experience through clearly defined
service expectations
Coaching managers and team members to achieve improved performance through
consistent delivery of service and quality of product Deliver the role of host whilst being an exemplary role model for the company
Increasing revenue generation by maximizing all sales and profit opportunities Monitoring and maintaining safety compliance standards to adhere to current legislation
Managing financial accountabilities – analysing data to provide solutions that deliver optimum results
