Description My client is one of the most exciting hotel groups in the UK right – now – think laid back luxury. Due to imminent growth of the current 4 properties turning over £20, million to many more they are in need to recruit a COO to their company.
, your core mission is to orchestrate the seamless operation of our properties, ensuring excellence from both operational and commercial standpoints to deliver unmatched customer experiences. They want to create memorable stays in time-honoured places. With their ongoing expansion initiatives, which include the development and launch of multiple properties, your leadership is indispensable in charting the course for our continued growth and success. A team is only as good as the sum of its parts, they are the lifeblood that runs through every guest’s stay, from bottom to top, every person matters equally.
You need to have a proven track record of opening Hotels and dealing with high-net-worth individuals as well as stake holders. At the same time, you need to be someone who is down to earth hands on and has the ability to get stuck in.
Specific Responsibilities:
·Facilitate excellent communication across all sites through regular visits and management meetings.
·Foster consistent communication with Department Heads and Senior Managers to ensure alignment with company objectives.
·Develop, manage, and monitor financial budgets for each site to ensure profitability and adherence to financial targets.
·Implement sound financial management practices to maintain profitability and operational efficiency.
·Drive sales growth and target achievement across the business.
·Maximize operational efficiency to enhance profit margins.
·Ensure compliance with company policies and operational guidelines.
·Prepare and manage monthly management meetings to review performance and set objectives.
·Lead, motivate, and develop teams through regular contact, meetings, appraisals, and training sessions.
·Uphold exceptional customer experiences by monitoring customer expectations and promoting engagement.
·Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and service standards to optimize operational efficiency.
·Oversee maintenance of sites, equipment, and grounds to meet and exceed customer expectations.
·Ensure adherence to hygiene, health, safety procedures, and legal requirements.
