Description Operations Manager, Business and Industry
Location: Northern Home Counties
Salary: £48K + Bonus +Car + Excellent Benefits
Our client operates in the FM and catering sectors and has a Business and Industry division providing catering and related services for prestigious clients. They are seeking a food focussed operator to join their team to manage a variety of catering contracts in the Northern Home Counties region.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure that the food offer is of the highest standard and is in line with current eating trends
Produce and agree all site business plans including annual budgets and manage their commercial performance
Communicate with all Clients, and manage and lead the operations teams.
To ensure all company targets are achieved whilst ensuring client retention.
To be responsible for a range of Business and Industry contracts and their profitability.
Review managers individual performance and identify training and development needs.
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and Hygiene procedures and standards.
Assist the sales team with identifying opportunities and compiling bids
Experience and Knowledge required:
Previous experience with managing catering contracts.
A craft based qualification
Knowledge of the catering industry within commercial, cost plus and fixed price business.
Change management and leading teams.
Excellent IT and communication skills.
