Job Description

My client is one of the entrepreneurial contract caterers who really are all about food and people! Due to growth they are looking for an Operation’s Manager for their city contracts – they have an excellent record for delivering outstanding hospitality and food retail on site for high profile City clients so you need to know London and the city specifically!
Talk to me about food – this is one of the first interview questions they ask candidates so they really are foodies! Also you need to be down to earth and not take yourself too seriously – there is a sense of fun and even a family feel to the company (even though they are one of the well established medium sized UK contract caterers) and this has that has created a culture that is very strong and created a place people want to work!
As well as knowing about food you need to know your numbers – most of their city clients are commercial operations so you need to be strong financially.
