My London contract catering client operate a diverse corporate portfolio across London, delivering individual and blended workplace services including reception, café’s, mailroom, concierge, hospitality, fine dining and events.
As Business Development Manager you will alongside one of the company owners to develop our sales pipeline within B&I, playing an active role in every stage of the sales process from document creation to budgeting, innovation to presentation.
The job role includes strategic planning, executive decision making and developing and sharing best practice across all areas of our business. As Business Development Manager we will be looking to you to introduce innovative new techniques, processes and technologies.
We are an adventurous company with an ambitous strategy for growth in the short and long term, this is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to play a significant role in our development and at the same time develop and progress their own career.
What are we looking for?
You will have a solid background in the hospitality industry and contract catering, ideally;
•2 years min. in a sales role
•4 years min. in an operational, managing a large site or group account
You will have the following highly developed skills;
•Ability to write bid documents to a high standard
•Competency in excel and experience in developing budgets
•Problem solving
•Confident and engaging presentation
•people skills and self-awareness
Personality wise we are looking for someone who is creative, with a big personality and of course as this is a sales role you will be naturally ambitous and competitive!
You will be energetic, resourceful, and have a can do attitude, happy to roll your sleeves up and do what is needed to get the job done.
There is a strong focus on blended services in our business therefore a candidate who has experience of food service and reception will have a definite advantage.

What we offer...
- A basic salary of £50 per year, plus commission delivering OTE of £70k.

·25 days holiday per year (plus public holidays).
