Business Development Manager – INDEPENDENT Caterer

This fabulous vibrant driven independent contract caterer has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join their friendly and vibrant sales team. They are looking for someone who has a proven track record in B2B sales (ideally in contract catering).The ideal candidate will be full of enthusiasm and passion, a good listener who is comfortable presenting ideas to clients. You will be responsible for driving sales growth through new business development.

Salary: £80,000 OTE plus benefits (healthcare, car allowance, business mileage, pension, life assurance, 25 days holiday)

Location: Based in South East or South Midlands

As a BDM, you will be able to:

·Fully understand the client requirements

·Know what great food and service looks like

·Manage the sales process from start to finish

·Manage sales tenders to all deadlines

·Create workable finances and sales targets, creating a buy in culture from the operators whilst challenging them and retaining a commercial approach

You will have:

·A proven track record within contract catering or similar

·Including an operational background in contract catering with an understanding of the sales and bid process

·Great communication skills; to be able to interact in a meaningful way at all levels from kitchen staff to Directors

·Team player mentality

·Excellent IT skills

Salary £OTE £80,000
