Location: Berkshire

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and self-motivated operational events manager to work with one of the most innovative venue in Berkshire. The company specialises and prides themselves on creating a sense of occasion and offering style to all their bespoke events.

The right applicant will be able to demonstrate a career in a 4 or 5 **** hotel or large venue environment, be well presented and have an excellent eye for detail.

You will possess excellent people management skills, and be passionate about food and service.You will be looking after a team of 30 people managing all aspects of the venues operations.

This is a 7 days a week operation, you will be working 5 days out 7 on a 40 hours working week.

You will be responsible for:

Drive the team in delivering an outstanding service
Be a proven, hands-on leader with knowledge of high standard quality events
Working and managing the team to ensure highest level of service at all times
Identifying up selling opportunities
Show-rounds to perspective new clients to present the company and the service
Build and maintain strong relationships with the operations team to improve productivity and effectiveness
Be extremely efficient and organised
Be friendly, outgoing and be able to remain calm under pressure
Be innovative and creative with bags of enthusiasm
