Description We are looking for an excellent all-rounder to manage this high profile Stadium in Scotland – turnover between 4 and 5 million and when at full capacity a team of 500. As General Catering Manager you will take on full accountability and responsibility for retail, which consists of 42 kiosks throughout the stadium, 100 seater restaurant which is open 7 days a week, Hospitality, Conference and Banqueting which has capacity of up to 1500 covers. With 25 match days a years there is a huge opportunity to push and drive forward the non-match day conference and events so someone with a strong sales mix to help drive this would be ideal.
The permanent core team that will directly report into the GM are the Finance Manager, Deputy GM, Sales Manager, 2 Head Chefs, Retail Manager and a cleaning Manager.
We really need someone who either has proven stadia experience who is a good all-rounder or someone who has a strong F&B, C&B Hotel background with some strong sales experience mixed in.
The client is great but demanding and is looking for change and innovation someone who can bring new ideas to the table –ideally this new GM would look to enhance the service, bring drive and innovation!
Salary
£55,000 to 60,000
