My client is a Foodie Quality Niche Family feel contract caterer, who is looking for a new Operations Manager to join the team due to growth in the Guildford area. This company is all about Food! I cannot emphasise enough, I need someone who lives and breathes food and will feel quite comfortable when being interviewed by the MD talking about where you get your inspiration from for food and your genuine passions for giving great service to your clients!
The sector is the top end independent schools market so some discerning clients, who really know the difference between good and great in terms of service and food. You need to have the emotional intelligence to be able to read and adapt your style when meeting and listening to your clients- most of whom will be Bursars. We are looking for someone who is either an experienced Operations Manager in the independent schools market or a rising star who is looking for a developmental role. Salary would be £42 - £47k plus care plus bonus and package, for a September start. Geography wise, ideally someone based in or around the Guildford area or maybe slightly further west.
