Description Proactive Sales Manager - Lancashire - £35k
This is a great opportunity to work with one of the country’s leading stadia operators at a top UK sports ground.
This opportunity will suit an individual already achieving in the same or allied market, who is looking to make a move within the industry to a recognised market leader.
EXPERIENCE
You will already have a proven sales and account management record within a large stadium, Food Service Management or event company.
REQUIREMENTS
You will be required to manage a team of sales co-ordinators and be able to work autonomously. In addition you will be required to devise a cohesive strategy to grow market share in the region, and maintain a competitive edge against local competition, and to be able to implement this strategy to achieve the agreed goals.
Excellent client relationship skills, the role will require you to be the primary point of contact for clients.
ROLE
·To ensure that the monthly conference and banqueting budget is achieved or improved
·Proactively seek out new opportunities to increase sales in the venue through targeted marketing and focussed account management
·Manage a team of conference and banqueting sales co-ordinators to ensure they achieve the delivery of the conference and banqueting budget
·To produce an annual sales and marketing plan
·Organise in-house training and assess the development of the sales co-ordination team
·Manage and develop all key existing accounts
·Identify national account opportunities and refer them to other operators within the group
