Location: South West
Salary: C£75K - £85K + Bonus +Car + Excellent Benefits

Our client is a leading company in the Facilities Management and Catering sectors and has an Education division providing catering and related services to schools, colleges and universities. They are seeking an experienced senior operator to join their team to manage a variety of prestigious catering contracts in the South West of England.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the operating plan for the area.
• Take immediate overall profit and loss responsibility for the area, maximising operating profits through positive margin and labour controls and operational excellence.
• Efficient financial management of client business within agreed budgets, providing clients with financial breakdown and information as required.
• Meet KPI targets in the area of finance and operations, set & monitor KPI’s for the team and operational area.
• Manage and assist the operational team to achieve consistently high quality of food, service and presentation on behalf of clients.
• Manage the team to increase revenue opportunities i.e., cash sales, labour efficiency and generate the Gross Profits expected at each site across the portfolio of business
• In conjunction with the Marketing Department develop a consistent approach to understanding and measuring consumer behaviour, and develop creative and innovative product offerings for profitable growth, while maintaining core brand standards.
• In conjunction with the Purchasing Department ensure that offer ranges are exciting, appropriate and of high quality in order to drive footfall and return spend.
• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and Hygiene procedures and standards.
• Assist the sales team with identifying opportunities and compiling bids

Experience and Knowledge required:
• Previous experience with managing catering contracts preferably in the Education sector.
• Knowledge of the catering industry within cost plus and fixed price business.
• Change management and leading teams.
• Excellent IT and communication skills.





Salary £80,000
