Description Operations Manager, Education
Location: Kent
Salary: C£ 42,5K + Bonus + Car + Excellent Benefits
Our client is an Independent Company who operates in the catering services sector and has an Education division providing catering and related services for schools, universities and colleges. They are seeking an experienced operator to join their team to manage a group of Secondary and Primary Schools in the Kent region.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce and agree all site business plans including annual budgets and manage their commercial performance.
Focus on the food offer with particular emphasis on the menu offer and meal presentation
Communicate with all Clients, and manage and lead the operations teams.
To ensure all company targets are achieved whilst ensuring client retention.
To be responsible for the education contracts and their profitability.
Review managers individual performance and identify training and development needs.
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and Hygiene procedures and standards.
Assist the sales team with identifying opportunities and compiling bids
Experience and Knowledge required:
Previous experience with LEAs and with managing education contracts.
A passion for food.
Knowledge of the catering industry within commercial, cost plus and fixed price business.
Previous experience of successfully managing large teams.
Excellent IT and communication skills.
