This is a marvellous opportunity for a proven multi site operations manager to join this reputable high quality independent school caterer with an outstanding reputation for looking after its people and clients.
You need to have an understanding of the independent school sector – as they have a totally different way of operating from the state school sector, you do not have to have worked within such schools – may be you have a link with one through connections outside of your day job. Each client has a bespoke catering offer and you need to someone who is at ease with talking to and building up relationships with senior bursars and head masters and mistresses of these public schools, who like to talk about cricket and rugby as well as their schools!
The company has a family feel about it and has been voted time and time again as one of the Times top 100 companies to work for purely because it really does look after and retain its people and people want to work for them!!
The senior team are genuine foodies and incredibly hands on in the business – not office bound and this really shows in the business – nothing is too much trouble for one of their schools.
