Salary: C£26K + Mileage + Excellent Benefits (Term time only)

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and passionate catering professional to become a Food Ambassador for a leading Catering Company in the Education sector. The role will promote awareness of the importance and benefits of healthy eating to school children of all ages.This role will be predominantly based in the Surrey area..

The Position

To deliver ‘putting fun back into food’ activities to pupils, teachers and parents as required
The role is to support primary and high schools and to undertake activities with students and parents to grow sales and engage customers.
To develop, coach and motivate unit chefs to enable achievement of both personal and business objectives
Prepare and deliver presentations using initiative and creativity
Work with the each school to develop out of school cookery clubs and extra curricular activities
Provide support to sales and re-tender process
Regular interaction with clients and customers about the standard of our service.
Understand the customer wants and desires and ensure the efforts of the team are to meet these needs.
Focus on Food - at least 5 added value projects delivered on a weekly basis across the patch every week of the academic year.

The Person

Able to deliver presentations to all levels confidently and accurately
Trained in culinary skills, preferably to Chef level
Detailed knowledge of healthy eating programmes and SFT nutritional standards
Ability to demonstrate great culinary skills
Professional, organised, presentable, efficient and self motivated with a sense of humour
An excellent communicator at all levels
Able to motivate and develop at all levels
Ability to work on own initiative but within a framework

Salary £26,000 term time only
