Independent highly reputable Education Caterer

This fabulous client of mine whose reputation is built on integrity, honestly and true passion for food has tasked me to find a superstar to join them as a new Business Development Manager. This is a unique role as we are looking for someone who has the ambition and ability to step up to Board level, this is not simply a straight forward BDM role.

The culture is great – there are so few smaller highly reputable contract caterers in this market that this role is ripe for someone who is fed up with working for one of the large players and wants to add value and has ambition to be a board director within 18 months…

Ideally I am looking for…

A proven BDM ideally with proven knowledge and experience of selling within the education sector, but my client is open to this.

Looking to grow the independent sector and nurture and nourish new independent schools in the South!

We need someone who can live and breathe the values of integrity, honesty and someone who wants to be an ambassador for the company as this is an ambassadorial role

Someone who is able to challenge and has ambition – my client welcomes being challenged!

Passionate about Food

Someone who can communicate with integrity and honesty in everything that they do.

Someone who can get straight on with the job, with real ambition

Someone who is also good at the not so exciting stuff……can write well, is great at Maths and spreadsheets and can make new prospects.

Understands fluently how to put proposals together although you will have a designated Bid Writer.

Flexible on location but great if Kent or Home counties….

The biggest USP I think is the culture and values and the fact that my client is a smaller independent with a fabulous reputation for quality and great food and people! So many of the smaller players have been swallowed up by the bigger companies so if you wish to move to a smaller company where you will have far more prospects and be appreciated and supported!

75K, plus commission structure we discussed, car or car allowance of 8K, Nest Pension, Life insurance, 24 days holiday plus bank holidays increasing each year, equity on the table when the role becomes board level.
