As Finance Manager you will play a vital role in my clients financial operations. Perhaps you are fed up with working for a big corporate and want to be a really important part of a smaller team where you will be able to add value and your contribution be appreciated. Your responsibilities include preparing trading accounts for sites, monthly management accounts, and reconciling balance sheets. In addition you would oversee site budgets, forecasts, and the company's budgeting process for their units. You would also handle override invoicing, investment trackers, and the fixed asset register. You and your upbeat and friendly team will ensure that the company is ready for the annual audit and takes care of VAT returns and national statistics surveys. As Finance Manager you would provide support to onsite catering managers, manages sales commission calculations, and contributes to improving systems. this role would require someone to have an exceptional eye for detail - my client does not mind if you take your time with your tasks it is all about accuracy and someone who has a phenomenal eye for the minutia!
This position is crucial in bridging the gap between detailed financial data and strategic financial planning.
You must have had experience of working within the Contract Catering Market, this is key. You do need to be AAT or CIMA Qualified / part-qualified or qualified by experience. A love of food is a big plus as my clients are real foodies!

To begin with until such time as you have gained the confidence of the MD/Owner you would need to be happy and willing to work out of the Staines Head office 5 days a week, then look to work more flexibly when the trust is there.
SALARY & BENEFITS
Salary 60,000 p.a. + annual bonus (flex for the right person)
Holiday 25 days p.a. plus bank holidays
