Our client is well known in the Facilities Management market, providing cleaning, catering and related services for a range of prestigious clients nationally in a broad range of sectors. They are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team in the transport sector. Reporting to a Senior Director, this position will be directly responsible for gaining new contracts in their existing business at Heathrow and Gatwick airports. The main part of the role is to deliver new profitable contracts to the Division via competitive tendering or maximising opportunities and selling additional services to existing and new clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• To develop relationships with key customers and develop further service contracts in the aviation, rail and maritime communities.
• To identify and convert new clients – FM companies, retailers and support organisations.
Requirements:
• A big focus on networking and building relationships within the communities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to develop relationships with the onsite Operations teams.
• Soft services experience in avaiation, airside or landside.
You will ideally have a successful career in business development or contract retention and will have a full understanding of Cleaning, Security and related services in the Facilities Management market.

Salary £40,000
