Job Description
Senior Facilities Management - Soft Services - Iconic client in Central London

Our client is a leading contract caterer who believes in making a difference! They are committed to best practice in all areas of corporate, social and environmental responsibility.

We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Senior FM Manager to work within a busy corporate space. This individual shall assume responsibility for the operational delivery of soft services across 3 buildings at our client’s large, cutting edge sites. Services include FoH, Office Services (porterage, mail room) Housekeeping & Workplace coordination.

This role reports into FM Director. Our client is looking for someone with strong soft services experience, with a proven capability to manage challenging stakeholders, looking at innovation and smart ways of working (but without large spend associated to it), a true business partner approach, but able to push back when required. Someone who is looking to deliver a 5 star service and has previous experience within corporate FM.

The Senior FM Manager will exhibit the following essential technical competencies for the role:

Significant experience in the management of large value multi-site integrated services contracts
A relevant professional qualification to Bachelor Degree Level or equivalent experience in similar role
IT literate with working knowledge of MS Office and Project
To be in possession of an IOSH Certificate
To be a member of a relevant professional body
Mobile to travel between sites
Behavioural Competencies:

The FM Manager will enforce compliance with recognised procedures and systems, but also review and change them as necessary, encourage others to follow procedures, monitor compliance and strive to deliver the best quality possible.
They will be confident in making decisions and follow up their decisions with action, achieving objectives by motivating and working with team members.
The FM Manager will continuously pursue high standards, embrace change, recognise improvement opportunities and realise these.
They should be able to draw on data from a wide range of sources and make detailed analysis and provide solutions that reflect service, financial and legal obligations. They will also use evidence to support their argument, present facts clearly and concisely, and be aware of audience and use appropriate language.
The FM Manager will take all Health and Safety matters seriously and must be able to withstand pressure when asked to compromise on Health and Safety issues.
They should display self-motivation and be attracted to detailed work and maintain efficiency and concentration when doing detailed work.
The FM Manager will lead by example, exercise management control and will share information and train others as necessary.
